Full Council Meeting Wed. Dec. 2

The October meeting of the QA Community Council will be at 7:30 at Queen Anne Manor. The agenda will include Special Elections for 2 vacant council seats and an update on Safety on the Aurora Bridge. The usual reports from Committees will be presented. All residents, workers, business and property owners of the Queen Anne area are welcome.

November Transportation Committee Meeting cancelled! December's Meeting moved!

Due to Thanksgiving conflicts, the November 2015 meeting of the Transportation Committee will be moved and combined with the December 2015 meeting. The next and last Transportation Committee meeting of the year will be on December 16, 2015. Same time (7:30) and same place (Queen Anne Manor).

There will be no meeting of the Transportation Committee on November 25 and no meeting on December 23.

QACC Election Results

At the Election meeting on the evening of Wed. Sep. 16, 2015, the following members were elected to 2 year Board terms. Congratulations to all, especially new member Matt Adkins:

Election Coming in September

The Queen Anne Community Council will be holding their annual election of board members on September 16 at 7:00pm at the Queen Anne Manor.  Eleven members will be elected to hold two year terms.  Any resident, business owner or stakeholder is eligible to run.  The Queen Anne Community Council boundary's are, Denny on the south, 15th/Elliott on the west, the ship Canal on the north and Dexter on the east.

The Queen Anne Community Council meets monthly on the first Wednesday of each month at the Queen Anne Manor (100 Crockett St.).  The meetings are open to everyone but only board members can vote on issues before the Council.

The Council's next monthly meeting will be held on September 2 at 7:30 pm  at the Queen Anne Manor.  Representatives of the Seattle Human Services Department will be discussing the new overnight shelter to be opened in Uptown at the corner of Warren and Roy Street.
